DANON BOURBON won the Fukuryu Stakes 🇯🇵, earning 40 points in the final Japan’s RTKD race. The now unbeaten in 3 colt son of Maxfield @darleystallions “is likely coming (to the Kentucky Derby) if he is sound after the race,” as @keibakate informed to Churchill Downs via email.
The winner was ridden by Atsuya Nishimura for trainer Manabu Ikezoe and ran the fastest time for this race ovn a muddy track, with a winning time of 1:50.9
